I had a very successful aerial photography session today over the Old Head of Kinsale. Watch for images on the main site, but I couldn’t resist putting one up on the blog.
This was my first time using the IQ180 for aerial photography – I was worried that 80 megapixels would be too unforgiving for this sort of work, but at a 500th of a second and f/5.6 on the 35mm Mamiya lens, it worked very well.
I might even try using the technical camera next time, as the lenses on that are superior.
